Back to Schedule Check-inYou can join session 5 minutes before start time.

Session Information

This unique session will present the Alma Library Print Collections Data Visualization Dashboard developed at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. The interactive dashboard provides insights into library physical materials collections. It offers an intuitive way to explore key metrics such as collection size, loan trends, subject areas, languages, patron groups, and more. It can be used to identify gaps in the collection, inform library purchases, and provide an understanding of patron behavior. Some highlights of the dashboard include: • Overview of the entire collection with breakdowns by library unit, material format, and subject. • Loan trends over time, providing a clear view of print collection borrowing patterns. • Interactive filters allowing users to focus on specific data points or timeframes. We will provide instructions on how to access a shared dashboard that you can adapt for your own Alma environment to share with your colleagues and library administrators.
