Join CARLI staff to learn how and why we pivoted from central management of 50+ e-Collections in an Alma Network Zone to local management in 94 Institution Zones. We will share how we determined project parameters, assessed staff capabilities at member institutions, and coordinated data and communications to transition the delivery of EBSCO databases from the Alma NZ to the IZs. We will review EBSCO profiles, parser parameters, and proxy settings, and how these shape patrons' interactions with resources in Primo VE. We will also share how this has given us perspective on the value and limitations of the NZ, and how we rolled out the project amid the challenges of semester schedules and competing consortial projects.
