Binghamton University Libraries actively promotes the adoption of ORCiDs among all tenure-track and tenured faculty. Over the past two years, more than 400 faculty members have been connected to ORCiD identifiers. Building on this foundation, discussions with cataloging staff explored strategies for leveraging ORCiD data to enhance researcher profiles and increase visibility through Linked Open Data (LOD). As part of this initiative, selected researcher data are extracted from ORCiD via the public API, cleaned and reviewed in OpenRefine, and reconciled into Wikidata. This workflow not only enriches structured researcher metadata but also enhances visibility in library discovery systems, including the person knowledge cards in Primo, providing an additional avenue for disseminating research impact to the scholarly community.
