Rapido pods can connect libraries to many libraries out of the box, but there are a few ways libraries can take advantage of the pod and rota infrastructure to connect with additional partners or improve fill rates with current partners. Libraries in California have taken advantage of Hybrid Pods to connect Rapido libraries with libraries using Alma Peer-to-Peer Resource Sharing, such as the new connection between Taft College (Alma) and the California State University (CSU) system (Rapido). The CSU has also improved fill rates with shadow "Locate Pods" that use locate profiles instead of requiring an exact record match to request materials from duplicate GTI records.
