[alternate-m/W29from3:15-4] You Survived Migration, Now What? Creating a Post-Migration LSP Governance Committee

Session Information

In 2025, the Ohio State University Libraries migrated to Alma/Primo along with all OhioLINK members. During the migration , University Libraries created a steering group and functional committees to support local decision-making throughout the process. Many staff were also members of consortial migration committees and provided input to the consortium about local practice that supported development of processes in the new shared environment. As the consortium moved to production in July 2025, the migration governance committee recognized that the complexity of the new system and related products needed ongoing oversight to continue developing the products and to balance priorities for the use of the new tools across the organization and related constituencies. This presentation will describe the new governance committee structure, how the migration committees transitioned to a single governance committee and will highlight the work of the committee in its first year post-migration.
